4 gospel singers dead following fatal car accident in Ogun

Four gospel singers whose names are Evangelist Ayodeji Kekerejesu, Evangelist Iyanu Joseph, Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin and Opeyemi Adesina have lost their lives following a deadly car accident that occured along the Ikorodu/Sagamu road in Ogun State.

The Ogun State Commander and Public Information Officer for the, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Florence Okupe, revealed this via a statement on Sunday, April 5.

Okupe explained that the accident occurred when two vehicles collided, and while the FRSC rescue team was performing the rescue operation, another vehicle crashed into them due to brake failure.

She mentioned that the gospel singers who were from the same family, were in one of the two vehicles that collided and they died instantly on the spot.

Okupe offered her condolences to the families of the bereaved and urged drivers to avoid overspeeding.

Their deaths have created sadness in the Nigerian gospel music industry as their lives were cut short at their prime.
