A message ignored, a tone misunderstood, or a small disagreement can quickly become a deep wound if not addressed with humility and clarity. Satan thrives in silence, assumptions, and pride—anything that stops people from talking openly and forgiving quickly.
2. By Feeding Insecurity and Comparison
He plants thoughts like “You’re not enough,” “They deserve better,” or “Look at how others are doing.” Once insecurity sets in, even a loving relationship begins to feel shaky. Comparison steals joy, makes partners suspicious or jealous, and distracts them from appreciating each other’s strengths.

When prayer, devotion, and fellowship decline, relationships lose their spiritual guard. Satan uses busyness, exhaustion, and worldly pressures to keep couples away from God—and once God is pushed aside, love becomes harder to maintain.
