2 “Is anyone sick among you?” They should talk to the church’s elders and ask that prayers be said for them and that oil be put on them in the name of the Lord. In the same way, they should ask the old people to put oil on them. Those who are sick will get better if they pray with faith, because the Lord will bring them back to life. People who are sick benefit from prayers that are said with faith. John 5:14–15 in the Bible says, “If you have sinned, I forgive you.”.
