Ukadike Chinedu, the Spokesperson of Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.

This comment comes as fuel scarcity hit Nigerians harder in Lagos, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and other cities.

However, IPMAN has assured that the fuel supply challenge will be eased following the release of petrol products to depots.

According to him, marketers will start loading at full capacity upon the supply of petrol by NNPCL.

“NNPC is now receiving products based on information at our disposal.

“Some of these products have been sent to Port Harcourt and Warri depots.

“So any moment from now, or by the weekend, they will release their batches and marketers will start loading in full,” he said.

Earlier, the Chairman of IPMAN, Shino Amoo in an interview with Channels Television on Tuesday said fuel scarcity will disappear in three or four days if NNPCL allows marketers to access the products at depots.

Recall that the NNPCL in a recent statement by Olufemi Soneye, its spokesperson, had announced that it is working with stakeholders to end the fuel scarcity.
