PDP lawmaker dumps party, gives reason

Oluwole Oke, a member of the House of Representatives has announced his resignation from the Peoples Democratic (PDP).

Oke, who is a six-time lawmaker represents Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in Osun State.

According to the lawmaker, he resigned from the PDP after a series of consultations with his political family and friends.

In a resignation letter dated April 16, Oke informed the chairman of PDP in Ward 7, Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State.

Personally confirming his resignation said, “I have resigned from the PDP.”

He, however, did not state which party he would be joining.
