‘Don’t Assume The Position of God’ – Timi Frank Rebukes Bode George’s Comment on Atiku Abubakar

Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Timi Frank, has condemned Bode George, the former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, for his comment on Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President.... CLICK TO READ THE FULL NEWS HERE▶▶

In a statement, George sent a message to Atiku informing him to wait until 2031 before he can emerge as presidential candidate. He backed up his claim with the constitution of the PDP.

However, Frank, in a statement released on Thursday, August 29, 2024, noted that he cannot decide Atiku’s fate in the 2027 election.

According to him, not even a thousand Olabode George living on the Supreme Court’s magnanimity can stop it if God chooses Atiku to be president in 2027.

Frank said: “How can a man living at the mercy of the Supreme Court assume the position of God?

“Recall that a Lagos High Court had, in 2009, convicted George, who was also former chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, and five others on a 23 count charge of abuse of office and contract splitting. He was discharged and acquitted by the Supreme Court in 2013.

“How can a mortal probably already at the departure lounge as it is common to all mortals claim to know the outcome of political events that are still very remote?

“This is a man who vowed that he will renounce his Nigerian citizenship and go on self-exile to Ghana if Tinubu becomes president and watch Nigerians from his “binoculars” from that neighbouring West African country.

“This is a man who said on Arise Television interview in 2022 that he can bet any amount of money on Tinubu not having educational certificates.

“If God says Atiku will be President in 2027, a thousand Olabode George living on the Supreme Court’s magnanimity cannot annul it.

“Besides, George has never supported Atiku in any election, but he has always won his primary and emerged as the candidate of the PDP.”
