1.Earbuds
Ear buds pose a risk of transferring disease causing microorganisms from one person’s ear to another as they are often teeming with bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms. Sharing them exposes one’s ears to these organisms and may lead to ear infections or other complications. It’s therefore advidsable to use your own for proper ear hygiene.
2.Nail Cutter
Nails have the potential to harbour infectious fungi which are usually uncomfortable and sturbbon to treat. It is therefore advisable to ensure thorough disinfection of nail cutters and nail clippers before sharing them of avoid sharing them at all.
3.Toothbrush
The mouth acts as a hub for many disease causing microorganisms some of which may be disease causing such as bacteria that cause dental decay, oral thrush, herpes and many other. After brushing the toothbrush can retain these microorganisms and be transferred to the other person. Furthermore, if an individual is infected with HIV, there is potential for transmission if there is bruising and bleeding of gums while brushing.
4.Towel
Towels act as breeding ground for many bacteria and fungi especially if they are not lefdt to dry properly in direct sunlight. Sharing towel exposes people to each others germs and increases the risk of spreading infections.
