“The APC won all the chairmanship and councillorship seats across the state,” Tombowua confirmed, noting that five out of the eight registered political parties participated, including the APC, PDP, Labour Party, SDP, and APGA.

In response, Ibrahim Idoko, chairman of the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), praised the smooth conduct of the election and commended Governor Hyacinth Alia for ensuring a level playing field for all parties. However, Idoko added that his party would review the outcomes and provide feedback at a later date.
