Recall that after the appointment of Barr. Vera Ndanusa, as the new Executive Director (ED), of the Fair Complex, by President Bola Tinubu in October 2023, one of her agenda  was to return the Exhibition back to the Complex rather than the makeshift Tafawa Balewa Square.

Today, President Tinubu through the Complex ED, Ndanusa, has fulfilled one of his many campaign promises under the “Renewed Hope Agenda”, by bringing back the Exhibition to the Complex.

Ndanusa during the official launch of the Fair in Lagos Nigeria in August 2024, vowed to build on past successful editions in promoting trade and investment across Africa.

More than 100,000 visitors from all over the world are expected to converge in Lagos Nigeria, from 15th to 26th November 2024 to attend the biggest Commercial and Industrial Trade Fair targeted to promote Africa’s premier trade and investment event.

During the 11 days event, more than 500 exhibitors, including businesses from the African continent and globally, will be showcasing their goods and services to the visitors and buyers, while exploring opportunities and exchanging information. This is projected to translate into billions of US$ in trade and investment deals.

Hosted by the Management of the Lagos Trade Fair Complex, under the theme: “Commercial and Industrial Trade Fair”, the 11 long days event will offer a platform for boosting trade and investment, the organizers had emphasized.

“It aims to tap into opportunities from the single market of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) of over 1.4 billion people and a GDP of over US$3.5 trillion.

Our correspondent, blown by this figure, called it a Gateway to New Opportunities.

Top Government functionaries such as Minister of trade-Industry, finance, culture and other ministries as well as high-profile business, small & medium enterprises and industry leaders are expected to attend the Fair.

Speaking to some potential exhibitors during the launch, they said: “The fair will be the largest, holistic trade fair championing the continent’s growth and development. It will serve as a collaborative platform for driving shared aspirations for prosperity and stability.

“It will be a strong backbone for meaningful transformation of Africa and enhancing resilience by creating a gateway to new opportunities for economies and businesses through intra-African trade and investment”, they said.

Key activities lined up at the fair includes the biggest entertainment village for guests and exhibitors, amazing sales and deals, networking opportunities, latest trends in business, local and foreign participation.…. CLICK TO READ THE FULL NEWS HERE▶▶
