The prompt action of the Kano State Chapter of an Islamic human rights advocacy group, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has yielded positive result as the Commissioner of Police, Abuja FCT, has ordered the arrest of a housewife, Fauziya Gidado.
She would also be transferred to the Nigerian Police Headquarters, Abuja, for Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) to commence investigating series of cruelty, enslavement, subjugation and brutalisation of house helps by the erratic woman.
The commendation was made public via a statement released by Malam Hassan Sani Indabawa, the Chairman of Kano State Chapter of MURIC, on Saturday, 14th June, 2025.
