A feisty woman who has shown she can’t be bullied by anyone has been in several bouts with the third gentleman of the land.

The incident that culminated in a sexual harassment claim began when Senator Natasha refused to move to a newly assigned seat without prior consultation.

This seemingly administrative decision quickly escalated into a heated exchange culminating in Akpabio ordering the sergeant-at- arms to walk her out of the plenary session.

Days after the clash, Senator Natasha, in an interview on Arise TV on Friday, February 28, alleged she was sexually harassed by the Senate President.

1) Natasha Hadiza Akpoti is a lawyer and politician who was born in December 1979
2) According to her official website, she is the second of four children and the only daughter of a Nigerian father and a Ukrainian mother. Her mother, Ludmila Kravchenko, was born in Rakitna in the region of Chernivtsi in Ukraine, and her father, Dr. Jimoh Abdul Akpoti, was born in Obeiba- Ihima, Kogi State (then Kwara State). Natasha’s parents met in the then Soviet Union, where her father was a foreign medical student on scholarship at the Bolomolets Medical University, Ukraine.

3) This is her first term in the Senate, having contested but lost the 2019 Senatorial poll under the ticket of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

4) Her primary and secondary education was undertaken in Nigeria. She spent six years at the Christ the King Nursery and Primary School, Okene, Kogi State, to attain her Certificate of Primary Education. Natasha’s Junior Secondary education was at the Government Girls Unity Secondary School, Oboroke, Kogi State, before proceeding to Federal Government College Idoani, Ondo State, for her Senior Secondary Schooling

5) In 2012, Natasha bagged her Master of Business Administration degree at the prestigious University of Dundee in Scotland, UK,
