The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has vowed that the party will challenge and capture Plateau State from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2027 elections.

The APC chieftain commented at the reception to receive new defectors from the PDP, Labour Party, PRP, and NNPP.

He noted that the growing number of defectors shows the level of confidence Nigerians have in the APC.

“These defections prove that more people now believe in our direction and leadership,” he said.

With the defections, he explained that the APC will continue to reorganize its structures, expand its membership, and strengthen cooperation across all levels in Plateau.

According to him, the party is not only targeting legislative seats but is also determined to take over the governorship.

He added that the APC will continue to welcome new members who are ready to contribute to its success.

Prof. Nentawe urged party members to remain focused, united, and active in grassroots mobilisation ahead of 2027.
