The ‘Zazuu’ crooner has recently been embroiled in a legal battle with his babymama and actress Ashabi Simple. The ruckus between the duo was reported to have stemmed from Ashabi’s insistence on being addressed as a wife, rather than a babymama.

Having none of it, Portable downplayed her complaints, emphasizing that only his legally married wife, Bewaji, is worthy of such a position. However, the argument between the duo reportedly resorted to assault and physical violence, leading Ashabi to accuse the singer of slapping, beating her, confiscating phones, and threatening her and her siblings with an axe.

Following the numerous online accusations, the singer was taken into custody by the Ogun State Police Command.
