The Director of Information and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa who briefed journalists, on Wednesday in Abuja, disclosed that the top NYSC official was last seen on July 29, 2024, while on their way to Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.
According to Megwa, the vehicle they were travelling on, a white Hilux with number plate, 27D31FG, is also missing.
Despite efforts by authorities to locate them, their whereabouts remain unknown.
He said: “The NYSC urges anyone with information to come forward and contact any of the 37 NYSC State Secretariats, Area Offices, the National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja, or the nearest police station or security agency.”
Meanwhile, an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
