Army Recovers 74 Terrorist Bodies, Foils Drone-Assisted Attack in North-East

The Nigerian Army recovered 74 terrorist bodies and foiled a complex drone-assisted attack during intensified operations in the North-East, Defence Headquarters confirmed. Troops of Operation Hadin Kai killed dozens of fighters, including senior commanders, during a major assault in Mallam Fatori, Borno State.

Follow-up operations recovered 38 AK-47 rifles, three PKT machine guns, and an RPG tube. Troops also repelled infiltration attempts across Bama, Gujba, and Kaga LGAs, while operations in the Niger Delta, South-East, and other regions led to arrests and recovery of stolen petroleum products and weapons.
