Defence Headquarters Reports 197 Insurgents Surrendered, 813 Hostages Rescued in March

The Defence Headquarters has released operational data for March 2026, reporting that 197 insurgents surrendered to troops. The military killed 103 terrorists, including identified ring leaders, and arrested 1,359 suspects comprising terrorists, criminals, illegal miners, and informants. A total of 813 kidnapped hostages were rescued. Troops also destroyed 104 illegal refining sites and recovered 216,570 litres of illegally refined petroleum products along with 254 weapons. The figures reflect ongoing military operations across multiple frontlines.
