Representing the Delta North Senatorial District, Nwoko issued a statement on Friday in Abuja, clarifying that the rumors were baseless.
Nwoko also addressed recent accusations concerning his alleged purchase of a car for a young content creator, calling these claims unfounded and deceptive. He expressed his frustration, stating, “Whether this is a misguided joke or a deliberate act of malice, it has gone too far and will not be tolerated.”
The senator announced his intention to take immediate legal action against those responsible for spreading these falsehoods, warning that arrests would be made and that those involved should be ready to face the consequences. He emphasized that his response is not about exerting influence but about holding those accountable for their harmful actions.
“I will not tolerate any attempts to malign my character or to downplay the seriousness of this situation,” Nwoko warned, adding that those involved in these activities should prepare for legal repercussions without delay.
