Atiku Abubakar, a two-time presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) met with Babangida Aliyu, a former governor of Niger State.
A strong member of the PDP, Aliyu met with Atiku on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
In a photo post shared on X, the former president said Aliyu visited him alongside one of Nigeria’s dedicated politicians.
He said they had discussions about events surrounding the political ecosystem of Nigeria as well as an approach to drive the nation towards a desired growth path.
He posted the photos with the caption, “Earlier today, I received in audience a former Governor of Niger State, Dr Babangida Aliyu, and Abdulmajid Dan Bilki Kwamanda, a dedicated politician.
“We had a productive dialogue regarding the current political landscape and potential pathways forward,” Atiku wrote.
