‘A leader who prioritises his people’s interests’

Godswill Akpabio, the president of the 10th Senate has described the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno as a leader who prioritises the needs of his people over himself.

Akpabio gave this description of the governor as a tribute to the 61st birthday celebration.

Felicitating with the governor, the Senate President said Eno’s committment to democratic values has earned him recognition as a people’s leader.

In a statement signed by Eseme Eyiboh, the media adviser to the Senate President, Akpabio said Eno’s inclusive style of leadership has fostered unity and cooperation across party lines, earning him widespread acclaim.

“Through his commitment to dialogue and consensus-building, Governor Eno has created a peaceful and stable environment, conducive to progress and development in Akwa Ibom State,” the statement said.

It also said that the governor, since assuming office has focused on providing support for the vulnerable population in his state.

He has also implemented policies that have boosted the economy of Akwa Ibom state and improved the lives of citizens.

“Your Excellency, as you clock 61 today, on behalf of my family, constituents, the Senate and the 10th National Assembly, I wish you good health, wisdom and strength to continue serving the good people of Akwa Ibom through the ARISE agenda.

“Mr. Governor, congratulations and God bless you,” it added.
