Amorim doing really good job, will be at Man Utd for long time – Ratcliffe

Manchester United co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has said that manager, Ruben Amorim is doing a really good job at the club.

Ratcliffe also said that the Portuguese will be at Old Trafford for a long time.

Amorim’s side currently sit in the 14th position on the Premier League table with 34 points from 28 games.

This follows their Premier League 1-1 draw against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Speaking to BBC, Ratcliffe said, “If I actually look at the squad which is available to Rúben Amorim, I think he is doing a really good job to be honest.

“Amorim is an outstanding young manager. He’s an excellent manager and I think he will be at Man United for a long time.”

Amorim joined Man United last year after leaving Sporting CP to win the Portuguese top-flight league.

The 40-year-old has endured a tough start to life at United so far.
