Anambra Guber Election: Youths play football near polling units while election is on going

Youths were on Saturday morning seen playing football near the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) polling units at Awka 2, Ward 6, as preparations for voting commenced.

While INEC officials arranged election materials and set up polling booths, the youths engaged in a football match on a nearby field, drawing the attention of some early arrivals for the exercise.

PUNCH Online reports that the Anambra governorship election is being held today, with 16 candidates from 16 political parties contesting to unseat the incumbent governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
