The son of the notable politician reportedly refused to comply with a court order restraining him from interfering with a disputed four-hectare parcel of land in the upscale Osapa area of Lekki, Lagos State.

The son of the politician who is a Lagos socialite, is popularly known as “Biggie”.

The son of the APC chieftain has been boasting of having backing from influential politicians who he claims will ensure the court order remains unenforceable against him and his company.

The interim injunction, granted by Justice E.O. Ashade of the Lagos High Court on March 25, 2025, explicitly prohibits Adewale Oladapo, Oretol Nigeria Limited, and anyone acting on their behalf from interfering with the land pending the determination of the substantive case brought by Capital Gardens Limited.

The disputed property, located in Hampton Estate (also known as Eletu Odibo land).

According to court documents, Justice Ashade deemed the restraining order necessary to preserve the subject matter of the litigation and prevent unlawful encroachment.

The court also authorized Capital Gardens Limited to publish notices warning potential buyers against dealing with Oladapo or Oretol Nigeria Limited regarding the disputed land.

The next hearing is scheduled for June 2, 2025, when the court will review compliance with its orders and provide further directions on the case.
