Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed Hosts APC Reps in Abuja Ahead of Planned Defection

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed hosted members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the House of Representatives from Bauchi at his Abuja residence on Wednesday. The meeting is part of consultations ahead of his planned defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Lawmaker Dabo Ismail said the governor convened the gathering “to discuss ongoing political realignment in Nigeria.” Mohammed had previously said the APC was not open to accommodating him, while the ADC was a preferred platform.
