Business mogul and devout Christian, Sir Innocent Chinedu Onuoha, Executive chairman of InnoChris Group has passed on.
Confirming his death, the family, in a statement, said he died peacefully in his sleep on December 11, 2025, in his Lagos home.
Also called Ogbuefi, a revered title in his community, Onuoha, who was born in1954, attained a higher education.
An Evangelist in the Anglican Communion, Onuoha hailed from Umuoma Umuaro 11 Autonomous Community, in Isiala Mbano of Imo State.
He worked as a former secretary to a former Chief Engineer, Flour Mills Nig. Limited, and had a rich experience before venturing into private investments.
He was the Executive Chairman, InnoChris Group, comprising InnoChris Transport, InnoChris Computers, and InnoChris Motor Spare Parts (wholesale & retail).
A bridge builder and philanthropist, he is best known for his roles in several outstanding development and infrastructure projects in his community.
Through his scholarship scheme, many indigent persons were able to attend school and receive a sound education.
He similarly mentored many in apprenticeship, leading to their becoming business owners.
Onuoha made a remarkable impact on widows and the less privileged through his philanthropy, which he dispensed without discrimination, restoring hope to dozens of beneficiaries across the country.
He is survived by his wife, Lady Adline Onuoha, children, grandchildren, and siblings.
