Represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, Tinubu emphasized that the new resources are intended to help the Nigeria Police Force perform its duties more effectively. He stressed the importance of avoiding corruption and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Tinubu also announced a significant recruitment drive aimed at involving more youth in national security efforts. He encouraged the new graduates to uphold the principles of modern policing and assured them that they had been well-prepared through their training.
The President assured continued support for the academy, which he praised as one of the leading police training institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa. He urged the graduates to prioritize national interests and carry out their duties with dedication and commitment.
“As you graduate today, you are not just receiving a certificate; you are becoming ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Service,” Tinubu said. “Discharge your duties with compassion, integrity, and professionalism. Your actions will reflect on both the institution and the nation.”
He concluded by congratulating the graduates and encouraging them to serve with honor, dignity, and respect for all Nigerians.
