The singer’s billionaire father made the generous gesture on Sunday, August 18, 2024 during a visit to the Cherubim and Seraphim church in Lagos.
The family was present at the church to attend a thanksgiving service in honour of the late mother of the Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke and Davido’s father.
During the service, Mr Adeleke made the donation to the church which was received with massive cheers from the congregation.
His donation has sparked significant reactions from Nigerians on social media.
