Speaking during the latest episode of Today’s Coffee Hangout, Fayose claimed that elders in other regions tend to protect individuals who advocate for the rights of their people.
According to him, Sunday Igboho and Sheikh Gumi represent the South-West and the North respectively, while he believes the South-East has failed to rally around Nnamdi Kanu.
“I think the Igbos are angry with me. I went to Anambra for my wine-carrying ceremony. I am a born polygamist with two wives — one Black and one White — and I am blessed that the Black one is from Anambra,” he said.
“But Igbos are the most greedy Nigerians you can ever meet. We have activists in Nigeria. We have a guy called Sunday Igboho. Despite bandits invading from one side, they still have Sheikh Gumi. We also have another person, Nnamdi Kanu, who is in Sokoto, and your brother Obi Cubana is wearing the mandate. He can’t use his political influence to bring his brother out.”
“I didn’t say he should fight, but you are within the corridors of power. You give me this, I wear your cap, you release my brother. And I don’t know their source of wealth. I am a billionaire, and you can trace mine,” he added.
Fayose also questioned the wealth of socialite Cubana Chiefpriest.
