Renowned Nigerian lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), J.S. Okutepa, has lost his daughter, Ojochide Okutepa, to the cold hands of death. The tragic news was announced on Sunday, June 8, via a deeply emotional post shared by Okutepa SAN on his official Facebook page.

“It is difficult to comprehend your sudden departure, my beloved daughter. In all I give glory to God. It is difficult to come to terms with the reality of your death. Sleep well Ojochide. It is well. It is well. It is well,” he wrote.

Also confirming the heartbreaking incident, the first son of the legal icon, Ocholi Okutepa Esq—a lawyer and Pentecostal pastor—expressed his grief in a Facebook post:

“Hard to make this post but I am grateful for the years we had together. My dearly beloved baby Sister Ojochide left this earth today!”

The late Ojochide Okutepa was a medical personnel. As of the time of this report, the family has not disclosed the cause of her death.
