During the ceremony, the Sheikh (H) was awarded an honorary doctorate degree (Honoris Causa) by Theran University authority in the areas of World Peace and Conflict Resolution. The ceremony was convened to present the honorary doctorate degree attended by thousands of academics, researchers, and students.
The leader in his speech sacrificed the Doctorate degree martyrs of the Islamic Movement.
He further said that the Islamic Republic of Iran will be the sole superpower in the world in the near future.
The US power is close to collapse while the power of the Islamic Republic is growing, the Sheikh said.
He also described the beginning of his Da’awah as a student over the past half a century and said he was not willing to be known.
Referring to the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran under the leadership of late Imam Khomeini, Sheikh Zakzaky said he changed his mind about teaching Nigerian students after the late Imam departed from Paris, France, to Tehran in the same year.
About the Islamic Revolution, he said even the communists had been impressed by the Islamic Revolution.
