He claimed his father told him he was old enough to fight his battles alone.

The man further revealed that he reported the issue to a church his father attends, hoping the pastor would intervene.

Despite this effort, his father remained adamant. He also took the case to a police station where his father was invited, yet the man still refused him entry into the home.

In his words: “After leaving the hospital, I went back home. When I got home, my dad refused to let me enter. He said I’m claiming to know more than him, that I should go and fight my battle myself.”

“He said I’m old enough. I literally told him I’m battling a chronic condition and how do you expect me to fight all the battles myself? He was like, ‘That’s your business, go fight your battles yourself.’”

As the video gained attention online, concerned individuals flooded the comment section to express their thoughts and sympathies.

I left the hospital and went back to my dad’s house. He denied me entry. I was stranded, helpless, and homeless. My friend calmed me down. Rented a hotel. Told me to rest first, we’d figure things out. When I felt better, I took the matter to his church. No success. To the police — and they begged me to go back to the same church that chained me. Told me “my dad means well”… and that I should wait for a miracle. #epilepsyawareness#chronicillness #FamilyRejection #DisabilityRights @aprokodoctor @VDM @Don Jazzy @asherkine @Instablog9ja
