Thanks – Just Click The Link.A Nigerian socialite, Elena Jessica, has reportedly died following complications from a second Brazilian Butt Lift procedure, sparking emotional reactions online after a heartbreaking video about her ordeal surfaced.

According to reports circulating on social media, Elena had previously undergone multiple BBL procedures and decided to have another one, which allegedly resulted in serious medical complications.

Her sister revealed that Elena underwent liposuction and fat transfer to her hips, backside, and calves at Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery on February 6. However, just two days after the surgery, she began experiencing severe pain in the operated areas.

Medical tests reportedly showed that her white blood cell count was dangerously high while her blood levels had dropped significantly. As a result, she required a transfusion of five pints of blood.

Despite being placed on antibiotics, her condition did not improve. Doctors later suggested another procedure to remove excess fat, but her health continued to deteriorate. The family was then advised to move her to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital for advanced treatment.

Unfortunately, the family was unable to secure a bed at the hospital. Elena reportedly spent about five hours in an ambulance while in severe pain before she was moved elsewhere.

She was later taken to Emel Hospital, where the family was asked to pay ₦1.5 million for a single day in the Intensive Care Unit. She was subsequently transferred again to another hospital where surgeons reportedly demanded ₦6 million to remove infected fat while she remained in ICU.

Her sister explained that the family sold several of Elena’s properties in an attempt to raise funds for her treatment as she battled Sepsis, a severe bloodstream infection.

She also accused the clinic where the surgery was carried out of abandoning Elena after complications developed. According to her, the family had exhausted all available resources, including selling properties, while their retired father struggled to cope with the mounting medical expenses.

The hospital later demanded ₦4.5 million to continue her treatment, but the family was reportedly unable to raise the funds.
