Ekpa made this claim in a statement on his official X handle on Thursday, citing the Nigerian government’s frustration over its failed attempts to extradite him.
According to Ekpa, the Nigerian government has run out of options and ideas, leading them to consider drastic measures such as closing the Finnish embassy in Abuja and cutting ties with Finland.
He claimed that Finland would have a better future with the emerging state of Biafra than with Nigeria, and that Norway had already closed its embassy in Nigeria and relocated it to Ghana.
Ekpa’s allegations come after the Finnish government announced that his case was being handled through Finland’s judicial system, which operates strictly by the rule of law.
The Nigerian government has been pursuing attempts to extradite Ekpa, but so far, these efforts have been unsuccessful.
