I received a warm welcome from the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Tolu Adeyemi, the directors, and top officials of the ministry. The Permanent Secretary conducted a tour of the offices and working environment for me, followed by a brief welcome meeting in my office.

While urging the management and staff of the ministry to prioritize their statutory responsibilities and be proactive in their service delivery, I equally promised an all-inclusive administration. I emphasized that Governor Aiyedatiwa is interested in the development of the youth of Ondo State. I then charged them on commitment, diligence, and proactiveness, disclosing that they are the engine room of the government and crucial to enhancing service delivery while highlighting the governor’s unwavering support for the ministry.

The Permanent Secretary expressed appreciation to the governor for appointing a youthful commissioner and pledged cooperation with me for success. Subsequently, I joined Governor Aiyedatiwa at a skill acquisition program organized by the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the governor on youth and job creation, Hon. Orioye Igbayisemore.
During the program, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa stated that he is a listening governor who granted the request of the Ondo State youth who demanded a youthful commissioner.
