Amaka Patience Sunnberger gained notoriety after a TikTok video circulated in which she threatened to poison Nigerians from the Southwest (Yorubas) and Edo State (Binis), citing their alleged animosity towards the Igbos.
In a one-minute and fifty-second audio clip, Sunnberger expressed that it was time for the Igbos to retaliate against their detractors, dismissing the Yorubas and Binis as “of no use to society.”
In response to the situation, Dabiri-Erewa confirmed that Nigerians in Canada have taken action by reporting her to the appropriate authorities.
On Wednesday, she shared a photo of Sunnberger on her official X account, noting that the TikTok account has since been deleted.
“This is the picture of the lady behind the voice. Amaka Patience Sunnberger. She has deleted her TikTok account and a group of Nigerians in Canada are reporting her officially to the relevant authorities in Canada. Thanks for alerting everyone,” she tweeted.
