BREAKING: Nwabali leaves Chippa United as contract is terminated

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has reportedly parted ways with Chippa United in the South African Premier League (SPL).

The 29-year-old has left the Chilli Boys after spending four years at the club.

The development follows a mutual agreement between the player and the club to terminate his contract.

According to Chippa United, the Super Eagles No. 1 formally handed in a transfer request, which was subsequently approved by the club.

Nwabali had signed a new three-year contract with Chippa United in 2024.

In a statement released on social media, Chippa United confirmed that they had agreed to the player’s request and wished him well in his future endeavours.

“We would like to sincerely thank Stanley Nwabali for the years of service, commitment, and professionalism he has shown during his time at Chippa United Football Club. His contribution to the club will always be appreciated,” the statement read.
