Chelsea raise offer for AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan to €21m

Chelsea have increased their bid for AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan to €21 million, according to Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, as talks intensify over a potential summer move.

The French international, under contract at San Siro until June 2026, is reportedly eager to leave Milan after growing frustrated over the club’s failure to finalize a contract extension agreed in March.

Chelsea’s initial offer of €15 million plus add-ons was turned down, but the Premier League side returned with a fresh proposal following renewed negotiations on Monday evening.

While Milan have been holding out for €25 million, the risk of losing Maignan for free in 2026 may force their hand.

The goalkeeper is said to be keen on a move to Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea positioning him as a key target ahead of the Club World Cup.
