He only regained his freedom on Tuesday, December 24 after meeting all bail conditions.
Following his release, he told supporters that he never lied to anyone, reaffirming his integrity and dedication to truth in his advocacy work.
“In my public advocacy, I have never lied about anyone. If I don’t know something, I will simply say I don’t know,” he said.
Farotimi emphasized that truth remains the most effective tool for achieving meaningful change in Nigeria.
A day after his release, he described himself as a “confirmed Elewon,” meaning a “confirmed prisoner.”
