Cross River deputy governorship candidate formally dumps PDP for APC, visits Gov Otu

Ambrose-Amawhe also visited Governor Bassey Otu in his office shortly after she announced her defection to the APC on her X handle.

She was led by the chairman of the APC in the state, Alphonsus Eba, and the chief of Staff to the Governor to meet with Governor Otu and his wife, Eyoanwan.

Speaking after her meeting with the governor, Ambrose-Amawhe said she visited the number one man in the state as a mark of respect.

Her words, “I only went to greet His Excellency, the Governor and His Wife, Her Excellency Bishop Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, as a mark of respect and to formally inform them of my movement.

“The day of my formal and ceremonial movement to my New Party, the All Progressives Congress, along with thousands of my supporters and other big names, will be made known soon,” Ambrose-Amawhe said.
