Delta: Suspect Kills Friend Over $1,000 Yahoo Fraud Proceeds, Confesses to Police

A 28-year-old man has been arrested in Delta State for allegedly murdering his friend and former classmate following a dispute over proceeds from an internet fraud scheme.

The suspect, identified as Oghenegare, admitted to being a ‘Yahoo boy’ and told police the victim, 25-year-old Courage, refused to share login details for a fraudulent transaction expected to yield nearly $1,000.

During the ensuing confrontation, the suspect claimed he used a broken shovel to fatally strike the victim’s head. Both men were reportedly members of the Black Axe cult. Delta State Police spokesperson Bright Edafe confirmed the incident in a video provided to the media.
