Dr. Philip O. Ozuah redeems $1M Pledge as Block C is commissioned at College of Medicine, University of Ibadan

On June 11, 2025, the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan (CoMUI) celebrated a significant milestone with the official opening of Block C, a brand-new student hostel.

The event marked a significant leap forward in improving campus life and was filled with joy and pride, especially for the students who will soon call Block C home.

This achievement was made possible by Dr. Philip O. Ozuah, a distinguished college alumnus. In 2022, he pledged $1 million to support the construction of a modern hostel—and he fulfilled that promise in full.
