FCT Minister Wike and Labour Unions Reach Truce, Ending Workers’ Strike in Abuja

A protracted strike by Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) workers has been resolved after a marathon meeting between FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and the leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC).

The meeting, convened by Senate Committee Chairman Mohammed Bomoi, led to an agreement ensuring no victimization of workers and the withdrawal of all related court cases.
