Finally Super Eagles Ex Captain William Troost-Ekong Completes Transfer to Qatari Club Al Ahli Doha

Former Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong has completed a transfer from Saudi Arabian side Al Kholood to Qatari club Al Ahli Doha. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 32-year-old defender has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Qatar Stars League side.

The move will see him team up with former German international and 2014 FIFA World Cup winner Julian Draxler. Troost-Ekong had been a key player and captain for Al Kholood since joining in August 2024.
