Full List of allegations levelled against Fubara, Deputy by Rivers Assembly

The Rivers State House of Assembly has leveled accusations of gross misconduct against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Ngozi Odu.

In a formal letter addressed to Speaker Martin Amaewhule, twenty-six Assembly members detailed their grievances. The allegations include:

  1. Reckless and Unconstitutional Expenditure of Public Funds: The governor is accused of mismanaging public resources without adhering to legal and procedural guidelines.
  2. Obstruction of Legislative Functions: The governor is alleged to have hindered the activities and duties of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
  3. Unlawful Appointments: The governor is accused of appointing individuals to government positions without following the mandated process of screening and confirmation by the Assembly.
