Hoodlums with cutlasses and firearms allegedly attack Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s family home

Some hoodlums on Tuesday, attacked the family residence of the senator representing Kogi Central Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.

It was gathered that the hoodlums attacked the lawmaker’s home in Obeiba-Ihima area, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State with cutlasses and firearms.

A security expert, Zagazola Makama said on Thursday, April 17, that the hoodlums launched the attack in the early hours of Tuesday.

In a report by Yakubu Ovanja, the chief security officer to Akpoti-Uduaghan to security agencies, three armed men invaded the senator’s family home at about 1 am.

The criminals were said to have vandalised the building and shattered the window planes of the house.

While no casualties were recorded or arrests made, security operatives from the Okehi Division were immediately mobilised to the scene.

Police are also said to have commenced documentation and preliminary investigation on the matter.
