The vice president, Kashim Shettima has attributed a new growth trajectory experienced in Nigeria’s economy to the policies implemented by President Bola Tinubu.
Speaking on Tuesday ahead of the Nigeria-Brazil Strategic Dialogue Mechanism, Shettima said the bold and courageous leadership skills exhibited by Tinubu have benefitted Nigeria in every aspect.
In a statement issued by Stanley Nkwocha, a media aide to Shettima, the actions taken by the president have also made Nigeria ready for investments across different sectors.
Shettima said, “In President Bola Tinubu, we have a leader who has shown that dexterity, that audacity to hope for a better tomorrow.”
Also commending the planning of the forthcoming event, the vice president said ministers have shown that they possess a firm grasp of the real issues across the key sectors that have been targeted for deliberations during the Nigeria-Brazil Strategic Dialogue Mechanism.
Shettima added, “I want to urge all Ministers involved in this Nigeria-Brazil strategic dialogue to take charge of the initiative of the discussions so that we can take it to the next level, let’s walk the talk. Please, drive the process, and engage with the different strategic focus groups to give you weekly updates to prepare us for the visit of the Brazilian Vice President and his delegation.
“The most important thing at this moment is for us to actualize the dreams of our nation’s development. We have the resources and institutional knowledge to make this work for our country,” he noted.
