The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has confessed that he is aware of the level of effort the Abia State governor, Alex Otti is investing in governance.
Speaking at the 70th birthday celebration of Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, the Senate President said he cannot commend Otti because his hands are tied.
Also wooing Otti, a member of the Labour Party to the All Progressives Congress (APC), Akpabio promised to celebrate the Abia governor properly should he join his party.
He said, “I have seen the good work you are doing, but I cannot publicly commend you because you are in the Labour Party — you are still labouring.
“The day you join the APC, you will hear my full praise and see how I will celebrate you,” Akoabio stated.
