I respect Asiwaju – El-Rufai’s son vows commitment to APC

Hon Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, representing Kaduna North in the House of Representatives, reaffirmed his unwavering allegiance to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a message on his X account, Bello, son of former Kaduna State governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, expressed his respect for President Bola Tinubu, despite his love for his father.

Responding to a comment from an X user, @utddiehard_, who suggested he was aligning with his father—who is a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC)—Bello emphasised that he remains steadfast in his principles.

He wrote: “I love my father. I respect Asiwaju. I will never do anything against my party’s interest as long as I am a member. But I will never compromise my principles.

“After all, God is bigger than PMB, Asiwaju, Mallam, and Buhari, and it is God and Kaduna North who will judge me.

My oath was with the Qur’an, the Constitution, and the APC Constitution. Any data boy and his sponsor will bow before me whenever I need them to once they try to drag me. And that’s what it is.”
