Imo All Progressives Congress APC spokesman, ex-lawmaker resign from party, join new movement

The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Imo State chapter, Cajethan Duke and former State lawmaker, Blyden Amajuruonwu, who represented Ngor-Okpala State Constituency, have resigned their membership of the party.

They made their resignation public while addressing their supporters and members of a new political movement known as, The Mazi Organization, (TMO) in Owerri, the State capital.

Duke said that their resignation was formed by careful thoughts to join and align with the new political movement championed by one Chima Amadi, to build a new political environment that would usher in a new chapter for economic growth and prosperity of the State.

“It is with exceptional humility and profound sense of responsibility that I wish to inform this distinguished audience and general public of my decision to resign as the State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Imo State, effective today, Friday, February 14, 2025.

“This decision was not taken lightly, but after careful consideration, I have decided to move on to a new challenge that aligns with my values and goals,” he asserted.

The former APC Publicity Secretary said that he was grateful for the opportunity given to him to serve the APC Imo State in that capacity.

“As I move on to this new chapter, I am excited to announce that I have accepted the offer to become the official spokesperson of TMO for better Imo State

“This new role aligns with my passion for building an environment conducive for real economic growth and prosperity and I am eager to contribute my skills and experience to help advance the organization’s mission and goals,” he said.
