Fire, Monday, razed a popular provision store at World Bank Housing Estate Area N in Owerri, Imo state known as Flawless provision store.

Blueprint correspondent gathered that the fire incident occurred in the afternoon as a result of an explosion from a big solar inverter.
The fire incident burnt everything in the provision store, defying all efforts by the staff and sympathisers to quench it with borehole water and fire extinguisher.
An eyewitness said the incident worsened when the fire caught up with creamy goods and insecticides making it look like a gallon of fuel was poured into it.
“It took the intervention of men of the Fire Service who came and finally quenched it, even though they came late,” he stated.
