President Tinubu’s daughter, Shade Tinubu-Ojo, has urged market men and women to warn their children against participating in the planned nationwide protest against her father.

It is worth noting that Nigerians are preparing to protest against hunger and economic hardship in the country. They are also calling for an end to bad governance under President Bola Tinubu.

Shade Tinubu, the Iyaloja of the Lagos, while speaking to a group of market men and women, mentioned that there is no room for protests in Lagos State, citing the destruction during the EndSARS protest.

She highlighted the damage caused to public assets and stores that were burnt and looted.

The President’s daughter urged Nigerians to allow her father to serve three years in office before engaging in any protests. She emphasized that both the federal government and Lagos State government are performing well.

“We should tell ourselves, our children at home and our family members that there is nothing like a protest in Lagos State. It is not good. Recall the one they did before where they destroyed so many of our public assets. Do not allow your children to be used by some people who give them money to go and start fighting and destroying things.”

She pointed out that businesses in areas like Adeniran Ogunsanya, Lekki and Sango Tedo, which suffered losses due to the EndSARS protests, are still struggling to recover.

“So please let us talk to ourselves. There is nothing like protest in Lagos State because the government is making us proud. They are making us proud. The state government is doing us well and for the one in the center, they just came into office. Before you say a government has not done well, you have to allow them to spend at least three years in office,” she said.
